Female Na’vi  in  the Hallelujah Mountains

   This is a small tribute to movie that marked 2010, with a touch of cultural resistance. A Na’vi female with a Brazilian woman’s body.

 About people from planet Pandora, The Na’vi:

Anatomy

   Smooth skin is iridescent, cyan color, long, prehensile tail.  Skull is proportionately small, high cheekbones, feline ears and a protruding snout. Bioluminescent markings for identification,  mood display.  Average life span is similar to that of a human. Despite skin color, Na’vi  have red blood.

Size

   Average male is 3 meters tall, females slightly smaller. Although their society is essentially Neolithic, the Na’vi  have developed a complex culture based on a profound spiritual connection among all creatures, and to the deity they call Eywa. They are super-artisans who celebrate the interconnectedness of nature through storytelling, song, dance and crafts.

   They are experts hunters and gatherers. In many respects, the Na’vi body is almost humanlike (and, even human standards, beautiful). The waist is narrow and elongated. The shoulders are very wide, creating a V-shaped upper back. The neck is twice as long as an average human. The musculature is sharply defined, giving no sense of emotion despite the thin proportions. (They have roughly four times the strength of the average human). Their almond-shaped eyes are large and hypersensitive to various bands of light. For balancing their long torso and legs. The Na’vi have a long, prehensile tail. They can traverse the landscape on surface as well as from free  branch to free branch.

   The abundant flora and fauna of Pandora have ensured a steady population of Na’vi; it is hypothesized that there was little Darwinian pressure to adapt new trails, which in turn has led to a slower evolutionary process than on Earth. Indeed, studies indicate that eons. The widespread access to natural resources has also helped limit (but not eliminate) warfare among the various Na’vi clans. Mermaids – Conceptual Drawing.

      From 1990 to 1996 the mermaids were the focus of a series of paintings. In this matter you will see some studies related to this production. During the “brainstorm”,   come the answer to the problem of moving the character; unite a human being to a dolphin.  This would give more naturally to the movement.  Two distinct appearances were created to character. We made a correlation between normal or relaxed state, with predatory or excited state.

      In normal phase, the creature, it contains living colors in leather half dolphin, including fins for hands and arms.  The human side appears almost unchanged. The use of jewelry is random.

the predatory phase, or hunting, the creature changes its appearance. Your skin is equal to the Siva, bright and color-changing. There is no definition of eyes in his skull. His jaw grows and divides. Your teeth are similar to the white shark. About your arms grow fins similar to those of flying fish.

Real mermaid.
On March 19, Animal Planet showed a documentary of an investigation that ended with an alleged discovery of new species.

In 2004, when he appeared several dead whales on a beach in Washington, marine biologist Dr. Brian McCormick wondered why. He suspected that tests with the Navy's sonar would be causing the deaths - but to investigate the possibility, bumped into a new mystery.
The production showcases the work of McCormick and his research team, in addition to testing by means of computer resources, the possibility that an animal evolved to the point of bringing in their human characteristics and physiology of aquatic species, confirming the existence of beings far Similar to the sirens that we know of fantastic narratives.

It all started when the sounds of underwater microphones were analyzed to investigate the death of whales: they had captured the Navy exercises in the area, along with the melancholy of whales - but anything more was recorded: an unidentified sound, a series of noises issued by an unknown creature. McCormick thought it could be a new species of whale or dolphin. At first, progress was slow, until another group of whales found dead in South Africa, drawing attention of the team. There, they found the partially eaten remains of an animal that nobody could identify. With the help of the autopsy, McCormick reached a stunning conclusion: the new sea creature was related to humans.

The story would originate from a remote past, there are eight million years ago, when the monkeys began to live off the trees. Through the resources of computer graphics, we will find a group of them living on the coast, gathering shellfish and crustaceans in puddles of rocks. Later, these monkeys would have ventured to come into deeper water, diving for food and swimming boosted by two legs.

Some millions of years later, his legs would become a structure of single tail and hind legs differ. They are no more apes, but what we would call "proto-sirens. " Like the dolphins, they also developed the ability to locate things and beings through the issuance of sounds.
